Reborn for the occasion was the Carny Band. Its original music highlighted Carny Knowledge: A Sideshow Extravaganza, Dreambook: A New Orleans Story, and other FPTC productions. Special guest, Peter Tork of the Monkees, rejoined the Carny Band for the party!

The exhibit featured a panoply of memories from the many artists who have worked with the organization. The works on display included sketches, posters, videos, sound recordings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, costumes, props, set pieces, and underwear.

Also featured was music by James Pardo and Friends:  Jacques Pardo, sax & guitar; Regie Gibson, vocals & percussion; Perry Bakalos, guitar; Steve Davis, bass.

All this took place in the Midway Studios Gallery at Midway Artist Studios, Boston’s largest affordable live-work building. Midway Artist Studios was born in 2005 as an affordable place for artists to live and work in Boston, when the real estate boom displaced hundreds of working artists from Fort Point. In 2014, the artists organized to purchase the building and make it permanently artist-controlled.
