About Fort Point Theatre Channel
Formed in 2007, Fort Point Theatre Channel is a community-based professional performance company. We are nurtured and inspired by the artistic talent that lives and works in Fort Point, enriching all of Boston and beyond. Our premise is that neighborhood gatherings — of artists and others — are part of the glue holding a community together.
Fort Point Theatre Channel, resident at Midway Studios, is comprised of a core group of thirteen artists. Together with many collaborators, we offer unique Major Productions and New Play Festivals, Salons that bring artists and others together to explore ideas for future creative ventures, and our Exclamation Point! reading series, informal gatherings that introduce and explore new works, often in draft form, joining short plays, poetry, and fiction with music, video, and other media.

Packed houses rave about our diverse events, yet donations are essential. They enable us to: pay the many artists who work with us (and give those artists more creative resources with which to work); keep prices low when we do charge admission; and offer many free events like Exclamation Point!So contributions are welcome and tax-deductible.
